For those of you who thought that I (Tim) was being mean-spirited in a previous post by putting up an un-flattering photo of my wife...I assure you that I TRIED to find a better photo! Here are some of the others that were not selected:

Happy Birthday, Jennifer

Jennifer was complaining that nothing was put on this blog to honor her birthday...

Then she complained that she wanted something "more intense" than the word "honor."

We were concerned about words denoting royalty or aristocracy, and "diva" implies the ability to sing.

Our only option was this picture.

Lulu the Bunny

Some friends of ours (the Stouts) got two bunnies for their daughter, but soon had 9...we agreed to take ONE off their hands. Lulu has been surprisingly easy to take care of so far, and will help us dye eggs for Easter next month.

Medieval Projects at Arbor

Harrison was a Medieval Bishop, complete with a crosier (ornate staff) that he made with Grandpa and an outfit he sewed himself; he performed a simple trumpet solo for the assembly as well.

Kennedy was a glazier, learning the craft of leaded stained glass from her mother. She also drew the Hanging Gardens of Babylon from perspective--more artsy traits from her mother!
