Introducing Sydney Hazel Bennett

Isn't she just yummy? We happened to be up in Seattle the day she arrived. What fun to be there when the two older sisters heard the news:

Don't you love Grace's face? She and Addie were beyond thrilled. We had to run around the block twice, we were all THAT excited! Congratulations Micah, Jonathan, Grace and Addison!

The Results...

The team finished 10th over all out of 27 schools. Jefferson ran an incredible 16:31, which is a personal record(PR) by 30 seconds. He also finished third for the Lions. Jefferson had an amazing race. Go Lions! Go Jefferson! They had a great weekend together in California and came home a stronger team and better friends. That's a great trip.

Seven Varsity boys are competing Saturday at 1:50 pm in the "seeded" race. Which means; they are THAT fast. If you want to check it out, tune into ESPN2. Go Lions!

Catch up

I am so behind in my entries. I have photos to post from Tim's Grand Canyon rim-to-rim-to-rim 40th birthday run in april, all of our summer fun, girl's camp, yard remodel, treehouse building, painting Kennedy's room, dock fun, brand new baby Sydney and photos from the annual Girl's retreat. This weekend, Tim is running the "Top of Utah" marathon, Kennedy and Harrison have soccer games at the same time(at the opposite ends of the earth) and we get to watch Peyton and Lanie. Lots of fun, but no blogging will be done. So here is a sneak peek or some the the photos coming your way.

Ranked #1 in the State

I love this photo of the West Linn varsity boys cross-country team. I love this group of boys. They are great people and great friends. It makes me happy that they are doing so well. Go Lions!

Here are the boys lining up for the start of the race:

This is Jefferson in his after-race pose. It was just pouring during the race. He ran his second fastest time this year, after a PR last week. Way to go Jefferson!
