An Amusing Story

Jefferson fell asleep in math class yesterday afternoon...not just a little "nod-off," but a full-on siesta! While Jefferson slumbered, his teacher, Mr. Kintz, directed the entire class to leave the room and stand in the hallway; meanwhile, he set the clock forward a couple hours to the time when school gets out. Then he came back into the room and rousted Jefferson, telling him that the school day was over that that he should probably get going now! Embarrassed Jefferson grabbed his books and rushed out into the hall, only to find all of his classmates giggling at his expense.

National Language Honor Society

Tonight Jefferson was inducted into the International Language Honor Society (Japanese). He very much enjoys the language!



This is Jefferson's sensei. He will be traveling with her and about 5 other students to Japan this summer.

A little Spring cleaning

The weather was so perfect today. We spent most of the day weeding the garden paths in preparation for new pathway chips. How about that for a pile?

Busy boy

This is Jackson's latest project. It might look like a catapult, but he likes to call it a Squirrel-a-pult.

While he is letting the Squirrel-a-pult concept simmer in his mind(He has already spent hours and hours on this, a few trips to the hardware store and 4 bags of concrete) he continues his quest for fallen trees.

Annual Biancardi Easter Egg Hunt

It is always a good time at the Annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Biancardi's. Here is Kennedy with Tazman, Kimi, and Jane. They found lots of eggs, played some fun games, and enjoyed each other's company.


Harrison and Tyler are waiting behind the barn so that the hosts can hide the 1,000 eggs. Aren't they being so patient. 1,000 eggs? Amazing!

Multnomah Falls

On their last day of Spring Break we made a trip out to Multnomah Falls. Fun, fun, fun. The weather was gorgeous and we needed that to ward off the freezing cold mist blowing from the falls.

A trip to OMSI for Springbreak

During Kennedy and Harrison's second week of break, we finally made it to OMSI. We had a great time and spent about 5 hours there checking out the fun experiments. They both spent a lot of time putting together an animated video.


The DiVinci exhibit was touring and we stopped for a photo:

Angela and Peter

I made a quick trip to Utah to attend my girlfriends wedding. I had time to take two long walks with Angela and get caught up with her, be introduced to her fiance, hang out with Ralphael and Rebecca, meet lots of Angelas family including her darling grandparents and visit with some of her Utah girlfriends. Although it was a quick trip, I fit a lot in!
