A Sure Sign of Fall

It's happened, Fall has arrived. The grocery store has replaced its bins and bins of watermelon with pumpkins. Goodbye Summer!

A visit from Peyton

Peyton came for a quick visit with Aunt Sarah. The trampoline was her favorite activity and the one activity she continued to return to. Peyton also spent time feeding the chickens and turkeys and "playing" with a bug. The lucky bug even got to jump on the trampoline with Peyton.

Jackson's hamburger

The man child came home from a long day at his internship and was hungry. He decided to make himself a burger. I wasn't home when he made this but I believe he added Tillamook cheese, bacon, a fried egg and if I recall, blue cheese.  I love that he was so pleased with his burger he took a photo of it. Finger lickin' good cooking Jackson!

Harrison

I can't believe he is wearing my shoes in this photo and they almost fit him!

Momma and 13 chicks makes too many!

See the naughty mamma hen with her day old chicks?

She takes good care of her chicks, but her days are numbered. This is her last batch for sure!  I need eggs momma, not chicks!

40 dump truck loads of dirt

Did anyone say, "Tomato"?

We love tomatoes. This is one of the many tablefuls we have harvested from our garden. It has kept us very busy making lots of sauce and other tomato treats. YUM!

Splitting some wood

This is Harrison's personal stack of wood that he split ALL BY HIMSELF! Go Harrison!

A quilt

A quilt for our sweet friends the Aramakis who are moving.

We had all the members of our ward write a note to them to wish them well.

Oh we will truly miss their family. Good thing Utah is only a drive away!
