State Lego Robotics Competition

I will apologize up front for the lousy photo quality. It just isn't one of our strong suits. But here are some questionable photos to capture the day.

Here is the TECH SAVVY team:  Nicholas, Tucker P., Rolf, Tucker, and Jackson.

This is the Tech Savvy team presenting their project portion. They compared the incidents of graffiti at their school to the weather conditions. Crime and climate, hence the black masks. It might interest you to know that the rate of crime/graffiti goes up when the weather is nice. Interesting.

This is Jackson and Tucker working during their two and a half minute timed table competition where the robot has to accomplish several tasks.

Jackson and Rolf working at another timed table event.

The TECH SAVVY team being interviewed by KATU Channel 2 news. Notice how Jackson refuses to look directly at the camera. So, it's not just mom's camera he doesn't like.

Jackson's biggest fans.

We'll leave you with a video of the robot completing a very difficult task, raising the house. Enjoy!

Their team placed 4th overall and received 2nd place for their design.  Way to go Tech Savvy!

This is fantastic! Way to go Jackson!!!
I don't think that Jackson is camera shy - he is just giving everyone his best angle.
Loved the little video clip - what a smart and great kid!
