We have attended three concerts just this week, so we know the Christmas Season is upon us! One of our stops was the Arlene Schnitzer Concert hall downtown. It is such a lovely building, one of my favorites in Portland. Jefferson's high school choir joined another high school choir and the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra for a beautiful rendition of Beethoven's 5th.
Another one of our Portland favorites, is the bubbler drinking fountains. They run continuously, who doesn't like that?
And Mr. Jackson found a paper crown somewhere and decided he was King of Portland. Oh, it feels good to be outside after a three hour concert!

Who wouldn't love to be the King of Portland? And how fun to have a concert in the Schnitz! Keith and I saw Jerry Seinfeld there ages ago, and he said, "Hmm, I guess this is all right, but I usually like to perform surrounded by more gold than this."
